Field Data
Core Web Vitals measurements collected from real users visiting a website in production — as opposed to lab data from controlled test environments.
Field data (also called Real User Monitoring or RUM data) reflects the diversity of real user experiences across different devices, network conditions, and locations. Google uses field data from CrUX for its ranking signals. Field data can differ significantly from lab data — a site may score well in lab tests but poorly in field data due to slow user devices or networks.
