Load Testing

A type of performance testing that simulates real-world user load to assess system behaviour under expected and peak traffic conditions.

Load testing validates whether a system can handle anticipated demand. Unlike capacity testing (which finds the breaking point), load testing validates performance under expected conditions. Common load testing tools include k6, Artillery, Apache JMeter, and Locust.
